Update-Cour­se: Colour design in public health care

This seminar provides basic theoretical knowledge and practical design strategies for the successful design of colour and lighting concepts in public health care. Practical examples from current projects act as a stimulus and lead into a specialist discussion of the subject matter.

 

Colour and light are important fac­tors influ­en­cing the well­being, health and reco­very pro­cess of peop­le. The ubi­qui­tous domi­nan­ce of white colour in the health care sec­tor is drawing to an end as com­ple­te­ly dif­fe­rent fac­tors such as iden­ti­ty, safe­ty and trust are get­ting more into the focus of inte­ri­or design in medi­cal prac­tices, hos­pi­tals and care faci­li­ties today.

  • Intro­duc­tion to the latest rese­arch on the the­me of “colour in public health care”.
  • Demons­tra­ting the posi­ti­ve effects of tar­ge­ted invest­ments in colour and lighting design con­cepts in the public health care sec­tor
