Colour and light are important factors influencing the wellbeing, health and recovery process of people. The ubiquitous dominance of white colour in the health care sector is drawing to an end as completely different factors such as identity, safety and trust are getting more into the focus of interior design in medical practices, hospitals and care facilities today.

  • Introduction to the latest research on the theme of “colour in public health care”.
  • Demonstrating the positive effects of targeted investments in colour and lighting design concepts in the public health care sector
  • Teaching a methodological approach for designing colour and lighting concepts in public health care based on the design thinking process.
